Benefits of being a member of CNPS and the Yolo Colusa Chapter
By joining the California Native Plant Society (CNPS) you are supporting our mission and all the work we do to conserve California native plants and their natural habitats. We work to encourage awareness, understanding, and enjoyment of our unique botanical heritage, and promote the use of native plants in gardening and landscaping.
Our mission is accomplished through education, plant science, advocacy, land stewardship and native plant gardening. We work closely with decision-makers, scientists, and local planners to provide science-based information on native plants and plant conservation, and to advocate for well-informed and environmentally friendly policies, regulations, and land management practices.
