PVIC Native Garden Volunteer Sundays

Join us on on these coming Sundays in 2025: May 18, June 8, July 13, and August 17.

Volunteer opportunities continue through the end of 2025, usually on the second or third Sundays of the month.

Volunteers learn about California native gardening while gazing out at the Pacific Ocean at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center.  The garden provides important habitat for endangered species and inspires people to plant local. Volunteer maintenance of the garden is critical to its success.

Enjoy a 180 degree ocean view while experiencing hands-on learning. Participants learn about native California plants and valuable gardening skills. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Close-toed shoes are required and please bring sunscreen and water. Bring gardening tools such as pruners, shovels, and gloves if you have them.
