Native Plant Garden and Landscape Service Providers: Design, Installation, and Maintenance

This is a placeholder blog post while we accumulate initial content and review our policies.

CNPS is a non-profit organization that advocates for native plants.  CNPS and the South Coast CNPS Chapter provide several types of plant, gardening, and landscaping education, ideas, and opinions.  We comment on public policy and joyously volunteer, but we do not offer fee-for-service or compete with providers of landscape services, some of whom are CNPS members.

We are often asked to recommend plant, gardening, landscaping, and related design professionals, but find that request a bit outside our primary mission of advocating for native plants and we have a concern about making in-the-moment recommendations since we don’t want to unfairly pick winners.  Nonetheless, we realize the important role that landscape and garden professionals can have for the advancement of native plants and we provide a list of garden and landscape service providers who have requested to be identified.  These listings are not recommendations; they are meant only to assist you with finding contact information of service providers who self-identify as working with California native plants.

If you are a local plant, landscape, or gardening professional who wants to be included on this list, please provide your contact information in the format shown below to SouthCoastCNPS@gmail.com for inclusion on this list.  Please use a subject such as “Native plant service provider information update” so that the intention of the email is easily discerned.
