Orchid Black: Easy Natives for Your Garden

Sept 14, 2020 General Meeting 7:30PM

The program for 14 September, 2020 will be Easy Natives for Your Garden, with Orchid Black of the San Gabriel Mts. chapter:

Zoom meeting – Zoom opens at 7:15pm

Abstract

Why grow native cultivars — the named varieties? Because in many cases these have been selected for their reliability and consistent bloom in the garden. This talk will discuss the easiest cultivars and other selected natives that grow reliably in a wide range of gardens.

Our Speaker

Orchid is the owner/operator of Native Sanctuary whose practice focuses on California native plants. Her gardens have been featured on the Theodore Payne Foundation Garden Tour for over 10 years. She teaches for The Theodore Payne Foundation and UCLA Extension.
