Join us for field trips, meetings, plant sales, and more! Explore our diverse habitats: alpine peaks to valley floors, deserts to wetlands, grasslands to forests. As professionals and amateurs alike, we learn and make a difference together. Non-members are welcome, too!

Shasta Chapter has been serving Shasta, Lassen, Modoc, and Siskiyou counties since 1983. We support California Native Plant Society’s mission to protect California’s native plants and their natural habitats, today and into the future, through science, education, stewardship, gardening, and advocacy.

A Winter Wonderland

As the chilly air settles in, Winter offers a unique opportunity to explore the resilient, evergreen species that thrive in our diverse landscapes. From the majestic manzanita to the hardy ceanothus, these plants not only endure the colder months, but they also bring color, texture, and life to our surroundings. See our blog for local events and come join us as we await the return of Spring!
