Annual Fall Plant Sale
Our plant sale is held each November in the Monrovia area. This event is critical to cover our expenses which include programs, workshops, facility fees, student grants, invasive weed control and other activities. We encourage you to shop and even volunteer at our sale.
Volunteer at the Plant Sale
The native plant sale is one of our best opportunities to connect our community members with their community of native plants. We have a wide variety of positions available. Currently we are looking for:
- Planning – join the planning committee
- Advertising – Help us to promote the sale with online posts and/or displaying flyers in local businesses
- Setup – the Friday before the sale, we setup the venue, unload plants from the truck and arrange them on the shopping floor
- Day of Sale – there are a variety of roles needed including greeter, plant expert, checkout, plant loading, and cleanup
