Chapter Meeting – 40th Anniversary Celebration

Program Slide Show portion is both in person and via Zoom beginning at 7:30 pm Pacific

• 6:30 p.m. Potluck on the Patio – Bring your favorite dish to share, or your own food. Please bring your own plate, cup and eating utensils to minimize waste.
• 7:30 p.m. Photo and Art Show, 40th Anniversary Celebration, Auditorium – Peruse member art inspired by nature along with member “slideshow.”  Photo slide show available via Zoom.

Art Show: Submissions requested!  Art work will not be for sale, only displayed for enjoyment, on tables around the perimeter of the auditorium.

40th anniversary photos: Please share  photos that capture past moments in our chapter’s history, which will be combined with our members’ slide show.  This might be favorite field trips or events, other cherished members, or anything you deem worth sharing. Include a photo caption that describes the year and activity.

Photo Presentation: To participate in the photo “slide show” presentation, please select up to 10 photographs with an aspect ratio of 16:9. If possible, please identify the plants in each photo with common names and/or botanical names, location, and date. Narrations during the slide show are welcome and encouraged.

• Photo/anniversary slide submission: submit digital picture files by Friday, September 20.

• Option 1 (Preferred): create your own PowerPoint or OpenOffice presentation
• Option 2: Use our DropBox or OneDrive folder
• Option 3: Email Gabi a link to your preferred photo website, where she can download the files. Image files should be jpg or .png format, preferably at full resolution.

We hope you will join us for this inspiring, event, whether or not you submit slides or bring art work, whether or not you come to the pot luck, and whether you attend in person or not.
