Please join us for another Family Friendly moth night at Portal Ridge for CA Biodiversity Week on Saturday September 5th starting at 6pm.
WHAT IS A MOTHING EVENT?
Mothing, aka “lightsheeting,” involves setting up a light directed at a sheet or other surface for insects to land on. The fun part is photographing, drawing and/or identifying the moths and other insects that appear on your sheet.

This time there will also be a ‘Constellation Station’ with a telescope set up to help us see constellations.
