Monthly Program ZOOM ONLY: Your California Native Garden in Summer By “Matilija Bob” Sussman

Monthly Program Meeting held in person in Monrovia and via Zoom ONLY.

Bob Sussman, Owner of Matilija Nursery, will discuss his recommendations on gardening strategies through the California Summer! What to consider, and what to combine to provide delight in the long, dry and hot months ahead.  

Blending practical wisdom with trademark humor, “Matilija Bob” will discuss plant selection, seasonal maintenance and his concept of a “Two-garden approach” to designing your landscape. Bob has been a long-time friend and supporter of the chapter and has generously provided plants and guidance to our plant sale over the years.  

Bob will be speaking via Zoom, but we’ll gather in person at our temporary home: Monrovia Public Library Community Room.
