Monthly Program Meeting held in person in Monrovia and via Zoom

Join us for a comprehensive update on Eaton Canyon’s post-fire recovery, presented by Natural Areas Biologist Cristhian Mace.

This presentation will highlight the canyon’s remarkable ecological resilience following the 2025 Eaton Fire, including the survival of native oak woodlands and the return of fire-following wildflowers. It will also provide an update on how LA County is addressing the challenges of recovery. Cristhian will share the County’s ongoing work in restoration planning, trail safety, erosion control, ecological monitoring, and the long-term stewardship of this beloved Natural Area while it remains closed to the public.

Come learn how the landscape is healing and how the County is working to protect and support that recovery in the months and years ahead.
