Gabi McLean, Retiring Chapter President, Recognition Award- Feb 26, 2026

The February Chapter meeting featured a commemoration for former president Gabi McLean. The chapter presented her with an award designed by Helena Bowman, featuring a photograph of Dudleya densiflora, the rare dudleya native to the San Gabriel Mountains which is especially meaningful to Gabi.

Current President Roger Klemm served as master of ceremonies, Mickey Long and Karen Suarez contributed photographs, and a chocolate cake was enjoyed in Gabi’s honor. Gabi thanked the board and many in attendance for their support over the years.
