It was a beautiful walk at Quail Hollow Ranch County Park on Sunday, May 3, 2026 with two knowledgeable leaders: botanist Andy Werner and Dan Antonaccio, field trip coordinator for CNPS Santa Cruz Chapter!

Quail Hollow Ranch is our nicest county park, with sandhills, redwoods, chaparral, oak woodland, an old ranch house and a lovely pond. It’s very diverse, including lots of birdlife as well. We’ll do a 4-mile loop with some uphill and downhill at a moderate CNPS pace! Quail Hollow is also the centerpiece of the chapter’s habitat restoration crew’s 20+ years of exotic plant  removal work. Join Andy Werner and Dan Antonaccio to explore its wonderful trails
