Field trip to East Glenwood Open Space Preserve with Dan Atonaccio 

It was a leisurely botanical stroll with Dan Atonaccio at East Glenwood Open Space Preserve in Scotts Valley to see the first blooms of spring! Early-bloomers encountered include padre’s shooting star (Primula clevelandii,) red maids (Calandrinia menziesii), sun cups (Taraxia ovata), milkmaids (Cardamine californica), California buttercup (Ranunculus californicus) and Pacific hound’s tongue (Adelinia grandis).
