Benefits of being a member of CNPS and the Redbud Chapter

First of all, by joining CNPS you are supporting our mission and all the work we do to conserve California native plants and their natural habitats, encourage awareness, understanding, and enjoyment of our unique botanical heritage, and promote the use of native plants in gardening and landscaping. Intact native plant communities and healthy ecosystems are essential to biodiversity and the well-being of all living things.

Our mission is accomplished through education, plant science, advocacy, land stewardship and native plant gardening. We work closely with decision-makers, scientists, and local planners to provide science-based information on native plants and plant conservation, and to advocate for well-informed and environmentally friendly policies, regulations, and land management practices.
