Point Mariah

Join Redbud on a hike to Point Mariah led by Jan Foster. Point Mariah is part of the Royal Gorge Ski Area in Soda Springs. The trail is managed by the Truckee Donner Land Trust. Enjoy fabulous scenic views and multitudes of native plants!

Jan is a hike docent with Placer Land Trust and a certified California Naturalist. This 5-mile hike has a 613-ft gain in elevation. Note that this hike takes place at a higher elevation than some other outings; the summit is at nearly 7000 ft.

Time:  10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bring: Hat, sunglasses, water, lunch and snacks, layers to accommodate the weather, sturdy hiking boots or shoes.

Registration:  Open to 20 people. Please register at Eventbrite.com (Redbud Hike to Point Mariah). Also, please sign a waiver. Directions will be provided at registration.
