Winter Ecology with Joe Medeiros

Thurday, November 13. Program at 6 p.m. Native Plant Sale at 5 p.m.
Location: General Gomez Arts and Event Center, 808 Lincoln Way, Auburn

What actually is “winter”? How do living things respond to this seasonal change? Migration? Dormancy? Hibernation? What goes on under the snowy surface or even below the ice on the pond? Life continues on and survives (even flourishes) where you’d least expect it!

Find out the answers on Thursday, November 13, at “Winter Ecology.” This program, sponsored by the local Redbud Chapter of the California Native Plant Society, starts at 6 p.m., with a native plant sale at 5 p.m. Location is General Gomez Arts and Event Center, 808 Lincoln Way, Auburn.
