About Calscape
On Calscape, people can search for the best native plants for their location, gardening needs, or preferences. A vibrant redesign now makes Calscape even more useful and inspiring—showcasing over 8,500 native plants and cultivars, free gardening designs and guidance, a garden planner tool, a native plant nursery directory, and native plant landscaping professionals.
Calscape offers everyone a way to bring native plants into their lives, with helpful search features and an intuitive user experience. Calscape makes it easy for gardeners to create wildlife habitat, saving water and resources, and restoring California’s natural beauty and sense of place.
