DESCRIPTION
Join Laguna Canyon Foundation staff and CNPS-OC in a morning of learning about various conservation projects in Laguna Canyon! Over the course of a 3.25 mile hike we will be visiting 3+ project sites in different phases of restoration at both Berns’ Canyon Preserve (LCF Headquarters) and Laguna Coast Wilderness Park to learn about the plant diversity of Laguna Canyon and the work that goes into habitat restoration.
The Laguna Canyon Foundation is a donor-supported nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the 22,000 acres of open space surrounding Laguna Canyon. Thier work includes extensive conservation, restoration, trails and access, outdoor education, and sustaining healthy habitats for all.

LOGISTICS
Free and open to all.
Meet: 8 AM. Free parking at Laguna Canyon Foundation Headquarters – 10 Phillips St, Laguna Beach.
Bring: Hiking/trail shoes, water, snacks, camera, and sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen). Binoculars for plant and wildlife viewing recommended.
