Across Orange County, there are countless organizations and nonprofits dedicated to the conservation of native plants and local open spaces. Local conservation plays a crucial role in restoring native plant habitat, monitoring invasive plant and animal species, and fostering community between us and the environment.

The evening will consist of a panel discussion moderated by OCCNPS’ conservation committee liaison, Elizabeth Taylor, and representatives from the Bolsa Chica Conservancy, Friends of Coyote Hills, Irvine Ranch Conservancy, and Laguna Canyon Foundation. Representatives will speak about their organizations’ conservation efforts followed by questions from the moderator and the audience.
