Work Party @ Oak Grove – June 20

Join us for a workday at Oak Grove!

Nature Center docents and volunteers meet up on the 3rd Saturday of each month to maintain the nature center and its trails. All are welcome to join in on the fun!

The center is working to establish a native pollinator garden for its interpretive walks; come out and see how you can become involved in this project!

We’ll have some men’s large and women’s medium gloves on hand unless you’d like to bring your own. Water, a hat/visor, long sleeves and long pants are advised–the roses and blackberries have thorns. We have a few hand trimmers, but if you’d like to bring your own, just be sure to label them. We have some bug spray and sunscreen to share.

If you are coming for the first time, please see Margaret first as you arrive so we can get your liability/photo waiver signed. Those under age 18 need to be accompanied by a parent at all times.
