Mushroom Walk 1/24

Join in on a walk to see fungi.

Join Jake Ruygt for an informational walk through the Pacific Union College Demonstration and Experimental Forest this Saturday. Learn about the mushrooms and plants that grow there.

Meet at 9AM at Nob Hill in Napa, near the Trancas Ave. side of the parking lot, or drive directly to Angwin. We will meet at 10AM at the parking lot on Las Posadas Road. At the sharp bend in the road, you turn left and drive a short distance to the parking lot.

The walk will be about 3 miles long over rolling terrain with a couple of short climbs. It will last between 2 ½ and 3 hours. 

Bring snacks or a light lunch and water. Sturdy shoes are advised but walking/running shoes are OK. Plan on cool weather.
