Community in Bloom: Botanical Drawing Activity

Join the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation, California Flora Nursery, and Sonoma County Ag + Open Space relaxing evening and explore nature through art. In this hands-on workshop, participants will carefully observe a selected plant and learn how to render it using colored pencils. With a guided, step-by-step approach, even beginners will feel comfortable and successful as they create their own botanical drawing to take home.

After completing the initial drawing, participants will have time to add color and detail using colored pencils. The finished artwork can later be framed, displayed, or even added to a blank card for gifting. Most importantly, the session offers an opportunity to slow down, learn something new, and enjoy the creative process together.
