Every Second Wednesday, California Native Plant Society Book Club

Join us for a fun, in-person meetup where plant enthusiasts gather to chat about all things native plants! Whether you’re a seasoned botanist or just curious, this Book club is a warm place to share ideas, recommend reads, and connect with fellow plant lovers. Don’t miss out on great conversations and a chance to dive deeper into California’s amazing flora! The club will meet monthly.

For July, the book is The Light Eaters: How the Unseen world of Plant Intelligence Offers a New Understanding of Life on Earth by Zoe Schlanger. August will bring Seeds of Hope: Wisdom and Wonder from the World of Plants by Jane Goodall.

The bookclub meets every second Wednesday at the Santa Rosa Peace and Justice Center, 467 Sebastopol Ave., Santa Rosa, 95401 from 7-9 pm
