October 15 Speaker Series: Plant Natives in Cool Autumn
Abstract: How to plan, plant and maintain natives in organic sustainable gardens around our County. Diverse habitats call for varieties that range from cool coastal to hot inland. This presentation will focus on best practices to maintain robust and healthy plants. As the native plants from the fall sales go into the ground, it’s critical to irrigate, protect and nourish them during the seasons ahead.
