Since the reconstitution of the Kern Chapter of CNPS Nancy Nies has been writing articles for the chapter newsletter, the Mimulus Memo. These articles have ranged from botanical explorations of Kern County to biographies of unsung women botanists. The articles include numerous photos that Nancy has taken or that she has obtained from historical archives.
