WILDFLOWER WALK | Electra Road, Amador County (rescheduled due to rain)

This event is now taking place on Saturday, January 4, 2025, due to anticipated rainfall on the 3rd. See you there, same time, same place!

We are pleased to share that beginning Friday, January 3, 2025, Denise Stephens, Amador County Vice-President, will lead a monthly series of wildflower walks in Amador County, near the Calaveras County line.

OBJECTIVE: You will learn to “botanize” and observe plant changes over the season along this 1.5 mile stretch of wild, flat-land walking along Electra Road, Amador County. Everyone is invited to attend one or more of these gentle walks and watch the wild flower season bloom and unfold in this beautiful location!

DATES: Fridays, 10:00 a.m., January 3, February 7, March 7, April 4, May 2, June 6, July 11. (Plants mostly dormant August-December).
