FIELD TRIP: Yosemite Nature Journaling and CNPS Joint Field Trip (Incline Road, El Portal, CA)

This is a joint field trip between the Yosemite Nature Journaling group and the Central Sierra chapter of CNPS with an emphasis on wildflowers. People with little or no prior botanical knowledge are welcome. Come and discover a new wildflower, or greet familiar faces. Learn how using a nature journal can help deepen your understanding of plants and their ecosystems.

Hiking Level: Easy to moderate. Easy to choose your own level of effort.

Meeting Place: Meet at the El Portal Market just off of Highway 140 in El Portal. We will carpool from there to the trailhead.

Meeting Date and Time: April 12th. 9 am–12:30 pm, exploration and nature journaling; 12:30-1:30 pm, closing potluck picnic and sharing observations and questions.
