FIELD TRIP: Leavitt Lake to the Pacific Crest Trail

LEADER: David Campbell | Level: Strenuous. Elevation starts at 9,500′ and climbs from there. | Description: Starting at Leavitt Lake at around 9,500′, already at treeline, we’ll climb up to meet the Pacific Crest Trail above the tree line. We’ll enjoy alpine plants and spectacular views along the way. The campsite and Leavitt Lake is a destination in and of itself.

Meeting Place: Meet at the Leavitt Lake Trailhead. If camping with the larger group, we’ll leave camp together – the trail head is a short distance away. There are several camping locations.
