FIELD TRIP: UPDATE! Frog Lake / Lake Winnemucca

Experience the alpine Sierra wildflowers by hiking to either Frog Lake (1 mile one way) or Winnemucca Lake (2.5 miles one way). Both hikes are easy-moderate. We are offering the Frog Lake alternative for those who want to have a high Sierra experience but who can’t make the commitment (though worth it!) to the longer Winnemucca Lake option. The hikes begin together at the Carson Pass Info Station (Federal park pass or $5 day use fee). RSVP to denise_stephens@comcast.net.
