FIELD TRIP: Highland Lakes (Day 2 of Double Header)

Field Trip Leader: Karen Orso & Christina Gandolfi

Hiking Difficulty: Moderate.  But please be prepared/acclimated to high elevation as we will be over 8,000’.

Description:  We will hike at botanizing speed no more than 4 miles in the Highland Lakes area.  Possible routes could take us to Upper Gardiner Meadow, Milk Ranch Meadow or a circuit of the western Highland Lake.

Meeting place and time:  The meeting place has been changed to Hermit Valley and the meet-up time has been moved up to 8:30 a.m. Precise directions will be sent to those that RSVP. Carpooling will be set up in advance for those in need of a ride.  Bring a lunch to have during the field trip and expect to be back to your car between 2 and 3 p.m.

Dogs are allowed on this field trip but they must be leashed when passing by other groups with or without dogs.
