Let’s check out the dogwoods and other springtime sprouters and bloomers that grow in the understory of our native BIG TREES (Sequoiadendron giganteum) along the easy 1.7 mile North Grove trail in Calaveras Big Trees State Park.

We’ll meet in the parking lot closest to the visitors’ center at Calaveras Big Trees State Park. at 10 a.m. We’ll finish around 1 p.m., depending on what the group finds interesting.

NOTE: There is a $10 day-use fee to enter the park ($9 for seniors).
