FIELD TRIP: Carson Pass and Meiss Ridge

Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 10AM at the Carson Pass north PCT Trailhead on State Route 88. Primarily to see Steershead and Beckwith Violets in the Meiss Ridge area. Other flowers usually present are Alliums, Geum, Daggerpod, Alpine Buttercups, Lomatium, Balsamroot and more. We will walk out the PCT a mile or so and then climb slowly off trail to a ridge, descend the other side and return to the trailhead via the PCT. We will be over 8,000′ elevation the entire time.
