Learn what to plant to build a garden that becomes a habitat for native butterflies, bumblebees and other beneficial insects. Join our work and become part of powering the native plant movement in the Sierra foothills.
We support farmers’ markets! They benefit the environment and support healthy practices. At the farmers’ market you know that all produce is from California (just like our plants)! On an average, farmers’ at the market have traveled less than 50 miles, so buying at a farmers’ market results in less carbon dioxide emissions. When you shop at farmers’ markets, you are supporting local family operated small farms and the produce is fresh and tastes amazing!
