Join us for our discussion of Bringing Nature Home  by Doug Tallamy. This book may fundamentally change the way you think about your garden and the role it plays in the larger environment. 

As development and subsequent habitat destruction accelerate, there are increasing pressures on wildlife populations. But there is an important and simple step toward reversing this alarming trend: Everyone with access to a patch of earth can make a significant contribution toward sustaining biodiversity. So much more than a push for native plants, Tallamy articulates the broad interdependency of living relationships and literally redefines gardens as the new “Nature”.

Feel free to spread the word to friends who may be interested and let them know it’s not essential to have read the whole book to participate. If you haven’t read the book, order a copy or check it out from your local library!
