Spring Plant Sale
The 2026 spring plant sale was held on Saturday May 2nd in conjunction with the Eastern Sierra Land Trust’s “Gardenfest” from 9-12. It is an in person sale held in the back yard of the Land Trust’s office at 250 N. Fowler St. in Bishop. Check with Eastern Sierra Land Trust for the date of the Spring 2027 Gardenfest if this page isn’t updated.

Fall Plant Sale
The Fall plant sale is held the third week in August at the White Mountain Research Center, 3000 E. Line St. Bishop. In 2026, the Fall native plant sale will be held (in-person only) on August 15 from 9-11am. Current members get to shop an hour early starting at 8 am. The sale is open to the general public at 9 and ends at 11. See list of plants here (pdf – opens in new window).

Getting Involved
Beginning in March we start seeding containers for the plant sales. These “potting parties” last 3 hours and are randomly scheduled throughout the growing season, as they are needed.
The spring and fall sales need volunteers to work the cash register, write up tickets, re-stock plants as they are sold, and clean up as the sale winds down.
